Family History/Geneology Blog

So, I went on a trip this year. Just a little one. Ended up in a very small town in KS. And ran into a Holdsworth. Yep...a Holdsworth. Strangely enough, this is my mother's maiden name. And we have been trying to do family history/geneology on her family for years.

We've had some awesome break-throughs. And then some not so great places where we are "stuck".

So, I decided after seeing success with other distant relatives and their blogs, that I would start this one for the Holdsworth Clan.

I'm also looking for information on a couple other family members. Especially my great grandmother, Mary Manson. I'd like to find out more about her teaching experiences in schools in Tazmania (sp?) Australia at the turn of the last century. And, am always interested in more information about the Girdlestones, especially relatives of Emma Girdlestone, her father Thomas, and most especially help with her mother's line, Mary Betts.
